But what if through the course of all the random banter and not mafia discussion we can pick up subtle clues as to peoples sides?

ok - I'm off to make have my epic tom waits listen-to-athon - I'm sure I'll peek back in here - but - ya know - I'll be distracted by carefully noting which songs I need to tell a person to listen to. ;)

also - when night is over - can all of us that are now having fun off topic please come back and offer opinions and stuff on topic? I hate to be a nag - but ya know - game is fun when everyone's engaged in playing it

sure thing, I'm already formulating ideas.  It's just the first suspect of mine to offer up the TINIEST bit more incentive that will feel my wrath Evil Smile

well - then help the rest of us out who don't know you guys as well as you all seem to. Embarrassed random banter (aka - off topic) - has been used before. I read everything - look for everything. off topic is fair game to me.  - especially if it doesn't jell with what I know said players to be like *outside* of this thread to be like.

I for one (and a few others) are at a disadvantage there as we aren't able to pick up on those subtle clues - I can almost bet money that alex spread us *new* to your site mafia players amongst all the teams. For the sake of balance. -

I  want to lynch as many baddies as I  can - but it's hard for me as I'm learning *who* all of you are while I'm trying to do it. So - I want to give all the players I *don't* know (and that's most of you tbh) - the benefit of the doubt - if you find something that makes shenanigans calling worthwhile - then PLEASE - do so. :)

yes - that's exactly what I'm talking about - :) you did really really good there trice - I completely voted on your reasoning - and what I remembered svs saying during the first day phase.

I only held off my vote in the interest of giving UB the chance to defend himself. Much like how it's poor form to vote for someone who is silenced - *some* players dislike voting for people who don't get to tell "their side of the story" - I'm one of those players. - I always *try* to give peeps the chance to defend before I vote - and only didn't wait till the last second this time - in hopes UB would defend - because - it didn't matter anymore. The numbers sealed his fate - and while I was suspish of him - and was hoping he'd come and defend - when he had all day to do so - i was left with nothing but your susphish - and svs's old suspish - and the fact that he wasn't talking. - maybe he thought it was a lost cause?

Awake is the best for seperate tracks. When it comes to an album as a whole, SFaM > all.

I actually love SC and think it's one of their best. Lyrically it's puke but musically I adore it.

Well, I have tons of homework to do today, so I will probably only be able to check back periodically. I know, I know. You're all crushed. Cry

Excellent result, and I was really shocked to find, upon re reading the thread (I have been AWOL most of the past several days, RL & over extension) that Bea had joined us~ I really hope we're on the same side, Sunshine~ and you are looking civ to me so far~

Yay Bea Tongue

It's also great to see the folks whose home court this is start getting into the game. I agree with Bea that everything someone says is fair game for scrutiny; I will NOT, however, make cases against people based on OT or what is said out of the thread. I will use it personally, to see if it supports my theory.

I'm a ghost, you can't lynch me for that.

6 Degrees is my favorite too, but I do like Black Clouds quite a bit.

And I agree, I don't really like Symphony X either. Dream Theater does what they do about 9001 times better. But that's just my opinion.

I think they are different too, but I won't compare them. DT is more original and they have a more range of influences. Black Clouds is a great album, But my favs are Awake, Images&Words and Scenes... Six Degrees is really close to those... but it demands a little more of mind attention...

But SX is also great, Paradise Lost is brilliant and great, but it's not that open and their music is less variable... but both are great Prog metal acts...

Wink

The lynch ended early last night because the votes were sealed. I decided to end it last night instead of this morning at 9:00AM.
