Meh . . . I still don't really see the appeal of the Halo series. Much better FPS titles have been around before and after the Halo phenomenon. Then again, I never owned an original Xbox, so I can't really say I was there to experience it when it was new.

I was a Halo fanboi up until Xbox 360 came out, absolutely loved (and still love) Halo 1 and 2. They're simplistic but they're still loads and loads of fun.

Have you played with the FCOM: Convergence complete overhaul? If so, how does this one compare? |

Ah, I see that this one is a story conversion and everything, plus it copies your Oblivion folder since it overwrites a lot of the files - right now, my Oblivion files are probably already overwritten by FCOM and other mods, so next time I need to do a clean install I'll try to remember this too so I can have both.

I have Oblivion but I have absolutely no mods for it... Are you able to get those on an Xbox 360?

I'm thinking about dusting off my N64 once I finish up Red Dead
Redemption and Condemned. I can't wait to revisit some classics like
Goldeneye 007, Super Mario 64, and Super Smash Bros.
Any other N64 games you guys would recommend picking up before then? |

What's that game like? Oh, by the way, are there any other good FPS's on that system? I've tried out a lot of them on N64, but I've only found a few that I like. |

Perfect Dark is an awesome FPS for N64; definitely try that one out.
Right now I'm switching between playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and Persona on PS2. Still need to get a new HDD for my PS3. |

I've played Ocarina of Time a LONG time ago. I only remember small things about the game... I think I still have that one on my shelf. I may replay that in the coming days. |

If you have a 360, download Perfect Dark from the xbla store. You won't regret it. If all you have is an N64 lying around, order Perfect Dark used somewhere. You still won't regret it.

There's this one independent guy near me who has a lot of retro stuff... I may pick it up next time I'm in that part of town. |

You can get the official ones, but not the incredible player-made ones which make the game 1000000000000000000000x better. |

Ocarina Of Time is indeed one of the greatest fantasy adventure games I have ever played. Even by today's standards, it feels very grand and dark, and the controls don't take very long to get used to at all.

FCOM is just a pile of neat little content mods -- mainly OOO and MMM. It's still Oblivion at its core. Nehrim is basically an entire new game made with the Oblivion toolset -- new world and all. I don't know of any TC that's quite as thorough and ambitious as Nehrim. It's not perfect, but it's damn impressive no matter how you look at it. |
