But sometimes I wonder whether life would be better without beef jerky.  I listened to an album by George Harrison the other day and I was wondering how prog it wasn't.  Damn that ex-Beatle!  Maybe he should eat more beef jerky.  The existentialism caused by listing to Phil Collins always amazes me, especially when he's faced with a huge beetle.  Not a Beatle, a beetle.  He plays better when a beetle is dominating his soul.  Sometimes it's also annoying to hear people criticise my arsehole.  My arsehole is better than whatever this subject is about because I am Moshkito and I like go off topic for the sake of it.  Listen to my arsehole.  It plays a tune!  Weeeeee.  Listen to me, you may think I'm an annoying troll but first you have to remember what the definition of a troll is.  I am not going to bother to define it because you all know I will win this conversation any way.  Religion?  Oh yes, I talk crap about that as well.  Phil Collins has tinnitus, how does that help him eat beef jerky?

Prog is like a well stroked cat who hasn't been neutered and craps all over the floor yet it's also like a dog who vomits on the shag pile carpet after eating rice crispies.  That second analogous comment is equivalent to art rock which is what I have always thought prog rock represented.  The gushing tap of doom is metal and does not represent prog of any kind and not listening to music made after 1989 is ridiculous as you're forgetting all that brilliant art rock that was released the decades after that.  I guess it's also like catholicism in that all those priests are bent paedophiles.  Although you have to query why they'd be like that.  Maybe it's because they listen to metal music which as I said is like a nun on an acid trip.

How can it be a rant when it's not about anything?

All rants are honestly not about "anything" just an excuse for people to let out their hate or just be all "look at me"
