How many progressive albums are in your music collection? By "progressive", I mean albums by bands that are included on PA (prog-related and proto-prog discounted).

I just counted mine, and the total was 1,216.

I've got around 1450 titles.  If we apply your criteria, probably 1200 are officially prog around here.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

About 1000 I believe, under this forum's boundaries. 1500 that I consider  to be progressive music.

Hi,

1700 LP's last I counted and 1600 CD's ... I have been steadily swapping the CD's for the LP's ... while I love the art work and the music, the LP's are way too heavy ... hey SNOW ... way too heavy! ... even after all these years. It's why we call so much of that stuff "progressive, you know? Geek

My collection starts about 1967 or so.

And the only things I have are those I love dearly and you can see the enthusiasm of that material here in this board when I write a book on anything!

At least a thousand under the prog categories, which is most of my collection.  Maybe another 500 or so outside of that.  Haven't counted in a while, and I'm not feeling that obsessive at the moment.  Sleepy

Exactly 332 out of the 576 CD's I own are on ProgArchives. (Don't think I counted them. I just keep a data base of my cd's on my computer, ordered by year, band, category, and country, so it's easy to know the number...and yes, I know that it is super nerd...but what can I say? At the end of this year, if everything works out the way I hope to, I will get my degree as an accountant, so there's the answer.)
