I've been playing Dragon Age, but I force myself to not play during the week.  I'd likely fall behind in classes if I did. LOL

I loved Dragon Age as I was playing it. However, after the fact, I don't have much desire to play through it again. And I honestly don't know why that is. Confused

Dunno.  I'll probably try to play through as each class at least once though, plus I'm looking forward to Dragon Age 2 now.

Yes, not only play it as each class but play it through as each class with each gender as well as both good and evil.

There's a lot of game there to miss.

Oh and also play as a thief at least once as there are specialist quests in Denerim.

You mean Chris Avellone and Feargus Urquhart of Black Isle Studios (now of Obsidian Entertainment, which is pretty much just Black Isle reorganized). Chris and Feargus were not involved with Fallout 3. They were, however, involved in Fallout 2 and the upcoming Fallout: New Vegas.

There are a few CGI cutscenes. The alley, for example. But yeah, mostly words. Lots and lots and lots of words.

Ah, I'm sure Chris was involved in Fallout 3 (not Feargus).  But I have just checked and you're correct.  He's writing for New Vegas.

He was involved in the cancelled Fallout: Van Buren project too though.

And I was getting my wires crossed.  I was also referring to Alan Miranda who now runs Ossian Studios in Burnaby, Canada.  He was producer of Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal and Neverwinter Nights.

Sadly, I don't have much time for games (spending my days in the army. Not a pleasurable hobby, I assure you), but when I do find some time to spare while I'm at home I play Starcraft2, although I'm pretty close to finish it and then i'll probably be bore  till some new game that my computer can actually run come out, which is probably never.

Thinking about buying an 360. Maybe I should...

I hope I'm not the only one who's been playing Telltale's excellent Sam And Max games- I just finished Episode 15 and can't wait for Episode 16 (the Season 3 finale) out in a couple of days. Very very highly recommended for fans of intelligent and funny games, but I recommend you go all the way back to Episode 1 as there are plenty of gags, story threads and characters that won't pay off fully if you don't start from the start.
(Well the start is actually the 1994 Lucasarts game Sam And Max Hit The Road but you don't need to go back that far, Episode 1 of the Telltales series is sufficient ;) )

Portal = all kinds of win.

Can't wait for the second one, as my earlier post shows.

^Just played through Portal for the first time in months, such a great little game. Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2 were also way better than I remembered.

Really hope they follow it up within the next 30 years.

I approve of this. Just make sure you patch up, it's got more bugs than your average rainforest.

I have a list of custom mods somewhere, there was a particular one (about 2 gigs in size) which removed all the known bugs and updated all the textures. I still have to get Call Of Pripyat.

Call of Pripyat is really good, just a bit too short. To be honest, the whole Stalker franchise is my favourite at the moment, even though I don't play much anymore.

I mostly just spend my time exploring/doing side missions in RPG's, so length usually isn't too important, as long as it's not OOT repetitive.

^I wasn't overly impressed by either, but they're pretty fun games. I have to check out Bioshock 2, actually.

Fallout 3.  I started it about a week ago and have decided it's the greatest thing that ever happened.  I can spend hours not progressing the story at all and just exploring the world and fighting all kinds of crazy stuff.  If I had a life this would surely be taking priority over it.
Which of you to gain me, tell, will risk uncertain pains of hell?
I will not forgive you if you will not take the chance.
