That might work, it was great listening to The Final Cut earlier, one of the happiest albums I know of.

Yeah, I can only take tech death metal in short stints. It is too unrelenting.

Have you heard Nile yet? Some of their songs actually get close to and past the 10-minute mark. And they're mostly about ancient Egyptian mythology. Yeah, Nile and Necrophagist are by far the best tech-death bands.

Again, once in a while... but their talent! Holy sh*t, floored me the first time!
