Lucky you! Though they played Vancouver, B.C. in 1995, I didn't know the band then, and was working in Japan at the time even if I had known the band. I think they're playing in Tokyo today. I so wish they would come anywhere not too far from where I reside. If there's one band I want to see live, it's Magma.
I wish PA had an events calendar module for concert listings.

Nice, I'm seeing them on the 18th in DC. Should be at LEAST 150% epic.

Literally impossible to keep up with it ... too many bands. You gonna donate your time for free? 40 hours a week, no benefits, a mountain dew once a month!
Hehe!

Hi,
I've seen Pink Floyd 5 times and many other concerts, including Tangerine Dream and Nektar ... and others.
All in all, there is one concert that stands out in my mind the most and that I am most happy and proud to be there ... yeah ... SF 1999 Progressive Music Festival ... and Magma is there and they get a standing ovation and Christian ha tears in his eyes.
I don't think that a "prog" moment is any more important than that in my book, the man probably realizing even more ... that there were other people in the world that appreciated them and then some. I, for one, am proud to have seen something like that in my life ... you only have one chance (sometimes) to catch a Misha, a Nureyev, a Segovia, a Birgit Nilsson, a Renata Tebaldi, a Karajan ... and if you didn't, you missed out on the most incredible ... talents that the human spirit has to offer!
(... now you know why I couldn't careless for the rolling stones! or some half baked progressive band!... )
