As always, voted for One Size.  FZ was on an absolute roll with Overnite/Apostrophe/One Size/Roxy.  Name any band that has a better consecutive foursome (not saying there aren't equivalents, but not better!).

Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

I guess I'll go with Waka/Jawaka.. but damn this poll is so difficult
I almost vote for Sleep Dirt, one of my personal favorites... I think Sleep Dirt is the least Zappa-esque album from the list, but i totally love it.
But now my branches suffer
And my leaves don't bear the glow
They did so long ago

Looking like one size is going to fit most. LOL

No wait, actually if you add all the other votes together...
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I went for Jawaka, but I think I should have gone for Sleep Dirt that doesn't have a vote yet.

This is my favorite Zappa era. Different titles appeal to me strongly in different moods....well, except for 200 Motels. No vote!

Like nearly every one else has said, these are the master years, making it extremely hard to choose.  200 Motels is definitely at the bottom, and Orchestral doesn't jazz me Wink.
In the last year I've probably been listening to Waka and Wazoo the most often, but I had to go with the uberwurk. One Size indeed Fits All.
The damage that we do is just so powerfully strong we call it love

The damage that we do just goes on and on and on but not long enough.

I went with Grand Wazoo, but was feeling close on many others.  Studio Tan is getting wrecked unfortunately, what a great album.  The first track is some of the craziest Zappa I've ever heard.
Which of you to gain me, tell, will risk uncertain pains of hell?
I will not forgive you if you will not take the chance.

Studio Tan has one of Zappa's finest moments ever: RDNZL. Unfortunately the rest I can't appreciate, well with the exception of 'Let Me Take You to the Beach'.

I'll go with Sheik Yerbouti, although I think that the Lather box set (In New York, Studio Tan, Sleep Dirt and Orchestral Favourites the way Zappa originally wanted them issued) is the best of his 70s work - unfortunately it wasn't issued in that form until the 90s.
