Quite a bit of neurotic tangling took place before Vermicide could land his first hit with his short sword- a nick on the chin.  Rubycon responded with the exact same stroke.  More girlish-looking fighting occurred before Rubycon slipped his sword into Vermicide's left shoulder, severely wounding him and ending the match.
