Sure- not sure why you'd want to. You can use the same weapon for any character as long as its in your possession. It's your arsenal.

The incredible Tarkus, a massive, tank-like armadillo of a man, walks onto the battlefield and greets the crowd in an iconoclastic fashion- the crowd erupts! Myriad appears on the arena in relative silence. But the people are not silent for long, as Myriad scores the first blow, landing his spear right in Tarkus' stomach. Tarkus responds with a mighty swing of the Stone of Years, hitting Myriad hard enough that both of them must take time to recover. Myriad moves in next, and strikes Tarkus with another powerful blow in the same place. Tarkus howls in pain and the crowd roars. After desperately trying to make a comeback, Tarkus seems to succumb to his own weight (and Myriad's spear). He falls to the ground and cries out for water.

Since you did not kill him, Tarkus was sold to the slave pool and is available for purchase (without any equipment, of course).
