What's your favorite Zappa/Mothers album released from 1971 though 1980?

That doesn't make you weird. I love it too. Anybody who doesn't like the album that has "Black Napkins" and "The Torture Never Stops" can go f**k themselves. LOL

One Size Fits All.

My favorite Zappa album.

True, but I would say that preferring it over Over-Nite Sensation and Apostrophe is pretty weird. Tongue

Where's Roxy & Elsewhere? Or In New York?

I go for One Size, although it's a hard poll, this being my favorite FZ-decade.

Except for the fact that a large chunk of the record is largely disposable. Heck, 2/3 of "Torture" could be cut out and I wouldn't mind at all.

Today, my vote goes to Over-Nite Sensation.

It's either Roxy & Elsewhere or Zappa in New York, two of my absolute favorite albums of all-time.

But since those are not here, Over-Nite Sensation gets my vote, another of my dearest albums.

I'm surprised no one's voted for Apostrophe yet.

I'm going to do a poll for Zappa live albums. I will include In New York and Roxy & Elsewhere; I agree that those are two of Zappa's best albums.

I voted for One Size Fits All, although it was tough. Another day, in another mood, it might be Zoot Allures or Joe's Garage. I also have a soft spot for Fillmore East 1971, but I guess this is just studio stuff.

Anyway, One Size Fits All. Phenomenal album!
Genesis/Yes/Rush/Marillion/VDGG&PH/The Flower Kings/Zappa/Änglagård/Wobbler/PFM/Banco/Le Orme/Jethro Tull/Spock's Beard/Transatlantic/Ayreon/Beardfish/IQ/Dream Theater/Opeth/P.Tree/Arena/Camel/Kaipa!

Haven't heard them all, but I like Grand Wazoo most out of what I have heard.

Well, I have seven out of twelve of those and enjoy them all.
Over-Nite Sensation
Apostrophe (')
One Size Fits All
Zoot Allures
Studio Tan
Sheik Yerbouti
Joe's Garage

If you like Sheik be sure and get the companion DVD Baby Snakes.
