It's a derivative I think. Anyway, hello there, I don't think I've met you.

Haha, well, how do you do?

Yeah, I knew James when he was Geck0. Things sure have changed. I haven't really been on here in years.

I can't complain, you?

Yeah, it's even changed a lot since I started posting here.

I wonder how much the culture has evolved here. The Velvet Room used to be pretty awesome. I wonder what happened to people like Bern and itsmorethanyou.

Do you mean moreitsythanyou? He still drops in every now and then, but a majority here is a new generation.

That's it!

New generation, eh?

Now, I won't be naive as to say I'll just make a return and start posting again, but I'm just pretend I'm back and lament the loss of my old buddies.

Dang, we used to clog up the thread feed. I remember when the VR used to get glitchy...

ah, those were the days.

Yeah, in fact this Room should have been closed, they seem to be forgetting to do that, there are at least 3 of them open currently.

And I'm surprised at how fast Shred Room 15 hit 400 pages, it took less than a month, which is pretty fast.

400 is a lot?

Dang, I remember when the other ones broke 1000.

We're still retarded in here, right?

Apparently around 400 is when it starts messing with the forum, so they close it.

What do you mean by retarded?

I mean it in the American vernacular sense: stupid, ridiculous, short-attention span, funny (but in a dumb way)

I assume I'm not; surely somebody else likes it more than enough to only read it once every few weeks

I like them a little. I read them daily.

The best are xkcd and Penny-Arcade, in my opinion.
