I'm going to make myself very unpopular here, but...
Can someone explain how this works? I might be wrong, and if so then I'm prepared to eat humble pie, but most of March's winners didn't post any reviews in March. If that is the case then i think that's a bit unfair on a good number of people who posted many fine reviews. I'm not saying this for any personal gain (I think I posted about 2 reviews, heheh ). I'm not trying to cause trouble here, and good luck to the nominated winners. I realise the winners are picked randomly (apart from the review of the month), but could people not get some reward for actually doing something? As I said above though, if I'm wrong I'll be happy to apologise.

^ I must admit that you are right, I just realized that and I am very sorry. I used 2009 instead of 2010 in my query. To be forgiven, I will add more gifts available to March 2010 reviewers, that I will pick later today. The "supplementals" prizes are:
Good luck to future winners, Max |

Aargh, what a pity that I wasn't reviewing more, I could have won Tee, or even brand new CD :-)

Hey, thanks alot to the guys who run this site. Much obliged.
But... can someone tell me how the random thing works?? Do you guys just pick out of a hat of people who have reviewed in the past month, or is the amount of reviews a factor?
I'm gonna aim towards getting another Review Of The Month for April/May hopefully!!

Hi M@X,
I just received an e-mail from you saying that I'm a Winner of the Progarchives.com March 2010 giveaway but I don't see my name anywhere among the winners. Is this some sort of mistake? Sincerely, Alexander |

No,
it should read "You are receiving this email because you have posted a rating or a review in MARCH 2010.*Remember that only full reviews (no rating only) are eligible to win." ????

That is very true, apparently I've forgotten how to read!
I guess that receiving a message with this title Winners of the Progarchives.com Monthly Giveaway three times in a row (!) made me automatically assume that I won this time as well. |
