Why would the aliens grow doppelgangers? I thought the thing was mind control, at least it was in The Puppet Masters. I guess mind control would be difficult, but it seems like it would be less difficult for an evil ameoba than growing 7 billion people from scratch. Also, PG movies were pretty intense in 78.

I should work on my intro to computers assignments, even though I know how to program already and could do them at the last second, I am almost compelled to apply everything I've learned to them just for the lolz.
