I like noise, but there are much better ways to get noise than shoegaze. And indie can go to hell.

Loveless was truly life-changing for me. When You Sleep is tied with No Surprised for most perfect song ever in my book, so I'd suggest it when you have the time.
Seems like I should check 'em out.

It's impossible for me to make a top 5 list. I don't have much of an interest in live shows except for the banter or improvisation, but at least SGM has some good banter.

Rob, how's Oxford going? I'm jealous of your youth and vitality.

In what respect? I don't think of myself as a very inspiring person.

Jesus, I didn't realize Neurotarkus was 14. When I was 14 I hung out on forums with adults and acted older than I was to make myself feel smart. What does that make me now? I also had really bad taste in music when I was 14, so it's OK that you don't like Pawn Hearts. ;-)

well, assuming all matter was created in the big bang, then our composing molecules are the same age. Also, most of the matter that composed you when you were 1, 5, 11, and 14 is probably sitting under your bed right now.

True, but age measures the age of your body, not the matter it's comprised of. And yeah, I forget how much heavier old beds are than new but it is a lot.

Musically, since I went to grooveshark I'm listening to more of the artist who's music you linked to last night.

your body IS what it is comprised of, by definition.

At the atomic level we are all the same age I guess, but our cells are different ages.
