Hey, how about "Dark Side of the Moon"? A cool title, for sure.
Also I'll mention Starless and Bible Black |
A cool album title, certainly, but credit where it's due: did you know it's from Dylan Thomas' play, UNDER MILK WOOD?
Quote:
It is spring, moonless night in the small town, starless and bible-black, the cobblestreets silent and the hunched, courters'-and-rabbits' wood limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow, black, crowblack, fishingboatbobbing sea. The houses are blind as moles (though moles see fine to-night in the snouting, velvet dingles) or blind as Captain Cat there in the muffled middle by the pump and the town clock, the shops in mourning, the Welfare Hall in widows' weeds. And all the people of the lulled and dumbfound town are sleeping now.

I like " Morroccan Roll" by Brand X and I chuckled in a record store some years back when I stumbled upon " 668 - Neighbour of the Beast" by obscure Canadian punk band My Dog Popper.

There are many too many.. But let's see, most of MY incredibly titled albums are from Caravan, Frank Zappa and Van Der Graaf Generator. Let's not try to mention em. And here are the others:
- Sgt. Pepper's Lonenly Hearts Club Band (The Beatles)
- Axis: Bold as Love (The Jimi Hendrix Experience)
- The Thoughts of Emerlist Davjack (The Nice)
- John Barleycorn Must Die (Traffic)
- Welcomeback My Friends to the Show that Never Ends - Ladies and Gentlemen... Emerson, Lake & Palmer
And hundreds more, I don't have time

Especially good when you see the album cover (nowadays would be considered politically incorrect)
