this video is horrifyingly awesome, but they had to have dubbed those sounds in. And that sort of ruins it.

Are you going to watch the followup series to Planet Earth?  I see that Oprah is narrating it, which is kind of scary.

I haven't heard of it.

Doesn't mean you'll always not be one, though.  And if you ever get around to writing the reviews you say you're going to write you may get Reviewer status.  Tongue

It's called Life, I think.

Yeah, I know I wasn't expecting it at all when I found out they were considering me.  It was a very pleasant surprise, though. Big smile

Only for the b*****dized Discovery version, which isn't even worth watching as they'll cut 15 minutes from each episode for commercials (at least I heard that's what they did for Planet Earth w/ Sigourney Weaver). Fortunately, the internet provides (unless you want blu-ray). In fact, I heard it's already been broadcast in the UK and you can torrent it...
I'll probably Netflix it later, but it's hard to get really excited when there are a billion nature documentaries available on Netflix, with a lot of the David Attenbourough stuff instant. I'm sure it's fantastic, but there's so much else out there I can't flip just because it's new. I need to watch Planet Earth again, actually.

Oh, nice.  I didn't realize Attenbourough didn't narrate Planet Earth when it was on Discovery, but I've looked at that set a couple times on Amazon.  I'd kind of like to get it on blu-ray as I hear it's pretty amazing, but...well, I don't have a blu-ray player and I'm not planning to get one just for Planet Earth/Life.

Ah well, I need to go to bed.  I'll seeya tomorrow, everyone.

Huh. To be honest, that makes about as much sense as the video standing on its own.

From 3 AM to 12:30, that isn't really much but it's a very tiring biorhythm (especially on the long term).

BTW Pekka, there's an awesome viking-type guy in Kingdom Of Heavens which reminded me of you last night. Thumbs Up

Pictures? Tongue Speaking of resemblance, I've heard from two different people that I've got a doppelgänger walking around Helsinki. I wonder if I recognized him if I some day saw him...
