I love Futurama. Clap

Me too, it's one of my two favorite TV shows.  The other is The Mighty Boosh. LOL

Shocked Neither one of those is sci-fi! Well, Futurama is I guess, but not enough.

I like humor more than I like sci-fi, that's why Futurama's so great...it mixes the two.  Oh yeah, I have a third favorite show as well.  Monty Python's Flying Circus. Tongue

I was hoping you were going to mention that.

I'm wearing a Ministry of Silly Walks shirt at the moment.  LOL

Yeah, and I tried to pull off the part of the walk which is on it...no clue how John Cleese managed to get his foot that high. LOL

Yeah, I'm probably going to ask for the series on DVD for birthday or Christmas.

Indeed.  It's a worthy substitute for music. Tongue

Monty Python is maddeningly inconsistent. Some of the skits are hilarious, and some of them are just awful and make no sense.

The ones that make no sense are just as good to me, after all I enjoy shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force too.

I've tried watching ATHF but I just didn't like it. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I watched it at about 2 AM.

Maybe.  Though a lot of people can't seem to believe that I enjoy it and I don't do/haven't ever done drugs.  That could be it too. LOL

Personally, I find TV shows to be a lot more funny at 2 AM.

I had the same problem liking Pink Floyd in high school.

I have the same problem with Magma now, one of my friends asked me this exact question: "How can you possibly enjoy this stuff without being on crack or something?"

Some ATHF is good. But you liked that f**king XKCD about God and R2D2 so your sense of humor is obviously broken. :P

Yeah, I can find humor in just about anything except modern "comedies" which are nothing more than the same sex and drug jokes over and over and over and over again until they make you sick with their stupidity and the stupidity they assume (rightly?) that most of the viewers are capable of.  Those, I don't like.

The thing I don't understand is why people think they are funny.
