Your name is Tsevir Leirbag, which is Rivest Gabriel backwards.  I just took the first names Tom (Rivest) and Peter (Gabriel) and spelled them backwards to get Mot Retep.  Silly, I know, but endearing, right?  Uh, right?  Smile

Ahh, yes I see I have two daughters about your age (14 and 16).  But sadly they don't share your excellent taste in music!  LOL

I do, but it's like any genre, some bands I like more than others.  I have all the Samla but one, most Henry Cow, lots of UZ, Yugen, Panzerpappa, Zaar, Rouge Ciel, Ahvak, Art Zoyd, Cheer-Accident, French TV, Nebelnest, Plastic People of the Universe, Pochakaite Malko, Present, Xaal, etc.

And of course, Miriodor, Stormy Six, Gruppo d'Alternativa, and Opus Avantra!

Mostly pop, with some rock and classical.  They all sing and play musical instruments (piano, flute, violin, guitar).

Well, that's true.  But they have rejected my attempts to play something more adventurous.  My oldest daughter did say she liked a song on the new Minstrel album, though, so perhaps there's some hope!  LOL

They could appreciate some of L'Ensemble rayé. Avant-progressive, jazzy, with classical touches...
Or give them some Shub Niggurath or Magma LOL

Will be added soon.

I'll see Ensemble SuperMusique on March 1st.

Ensemble SuperMusique live was crazy!
Plus, the concept was interesting. They played actuelle musique (well, as usual). They played compositions of young composers.
- Vous êtes ici by Guiddo Del Fabbro (Rouge Ciel)
Trafic by Esther B.
- Diamond for Rickie Lee Jones by Gordon Allen
- Hydrophonie by Marielle Groven (I even discussed with her)
- Numéro d'inventaire by Éric Normand

Pretty solid setlist. I discussed with Joane Hétu. And I got Bernard Falaise's most recent album, Clic.

By the way, congratulation to Hugues for his excellent review of this album (Clic)

Content d'avoir pu t'aiderWink

I have post a suggestion to add on The Archives the band from Quebec Chimeres, who i think it's very good prog. They exist since 2003 and made 2 albums :
