Well, I need share to you what happened last sunday!!!!

Focus was in Porto Alegre, my city, and I obviously went to the show! But... for my surprise, at the final they were signing CDs and LPs, and taking pics!

I had never talked to a dinossaur musician like Thijs van Leer and Pierre van der Linden, and so I had the opportunity! They are very cool, and the other two members too (Niels and Bobby Jacobs)!

I said to Pierre that I have some videos where I always pay attention on his traditional grip's technics, and I asked him a stick! He gave me the stick he was just used that night! What a pleasure! Well, I'm drummer! :)

And, sure, the show was fantastic! They played House of the King, a little part of Anonymous Two, Sylvia, Hocus Pocus, Focus III / Focus II, Harem Scarem, La Cathedral de Strassbourgh, Eruption and others...

Great night!!!

Eduardo

PS: Sorry for my english...

Hi,

Focus without Jan Akkerman?

I'm very glad to see Thijs playing again ... and Pierre as well ... but no Jan?
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Right! No Jan Akkerman nor Bert Ruiter! It was a pity!
But at least Thijs van Leer and Pierre van der Linden were there! And the new guitar player is extremly good, like bass player too!

Could we focus on Brazilian prog here, as the title says?...

Oops, it's "in". Sorry.

I went to see them in São Paulo. Outstanding, one of the best concerts I ever saw. Thijs is a genius.
