Hey, at least we aren't talking about whether or not something is prog, or arguing over prog vs. progressive or something silly like that.

Yeah, although I have a do a fair share of that now. The PM team has over 250 artists to evaluate on progfreak.

Cool

Cool

But do people write 5+ paragraph responses defending Dream Theater the band you are discussing for ever single negative reply?

No.

We have lives.

Then that is OK,

I just don't think I can take another DT/religious thread. Cry

What about a religious DT thread... something like:

"Religious Themes in DT's nearly prog, not quite legendary metal?"

Hey Ben, what should I try next from the post-metal genre after Isis' Wavering Radiant (which was my introduction to it)?

I hope it becomes a meme used to troll the srs parts of PA. Every time a conversation goes on for too long someone can just say "If you don't know what is (insert random genre), please go away."

I honestly don't even know what that guy is talking about half the time.

I'm assuming you enjoyed it?

If yes, then check out some of these:

Panopticon, Isis
Somewhere Along The Highway, Cult of Luna
Souvenirs d'un Autre Monde, Alcest

There are more extreme versions of Post-Metal, but that would be a good intro.

Because you don't get to say it in the morning?

I'm usually awake in the morning, so I can say good morning to people then.  I guess it's just me liking to say good morning at all hours of the day.
