My dad isn't too keen on Metallica, he doesn't like their lyrics very much. He also is the farthest thing from a metal fan imaginable. LOL

Same with my old man.  He barely listens to rock music anymore!  It's all classical now.

I've been a Metallica fan since Ride The Lightning.  I bought Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning on vinyl from a rock n' roll magazine when I saw an advertisment for them both.  The first time that I ever heard them was when I was outside mowing the lawn and my neighbor was blasting Ride The Lightning on his stereo in the garage.

My mom gave me her old cassettes, all I can remember is AJFA and Appetite for Destruction. There was a Rolling Stones one too, but I can't remember what. I don't think I liked them much.

I'm still too energized because of the concert so I won't tolerate Rob's review for sure...!!!

naaah, it's my favorite album from them (really, I like it lately, I'd never been interested on them but that album is great) and besides, it's music do work for the gym, helps with the rutine...

Oh yes.  I had Appetite For Destruction on vinyl too, before most people had ever heard of them.  I saw the video to Welcome to the Jungle on Headbanger's Ball right before it came out so I had to get the album.  It was a few months later when they really hit it big with Sweet Child O' Mine.

One is good.  But there is much better on Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets in my most humble of opinions.

Perhaps I shall give them a try. It never hurts.

Robert gave it the rating I thought he would. He also dislikes it for the reasons I thought he would.

It's still my favorite Metallica album though. Embarrassed

Two stars is already one too much for metal. Angry

As long as you check their first four albums, you will be fine... actually I like a lot their last album. It's really a prog metal album, not just prog related, but you know...

One is my favorite song from them, and there's good songs like Orion and Harvester of Sorrow... the lyrics are meant for angry teenagers but we can still appreciate it right...???

Why don't you like metal? I'm not a big fan myself, but I don't hate it.
