^ Re Lemming's review: I'm a big fan of ELP and not one to go about 'bashing' them, but Lemming's review is one of the funnier reviews I've ever read. I just love the football analogy, good stuff.

I missed that review the first time around.
It's one of the funniest I've read here.
Excellent choice.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Aw jeez, I'm blushing Embarrassed.
Very flattered to be chosen and thanks everyone for the positive feedback
(BTW I'm a HUGE and unashamed ELP fanboy, but I can't pretend that some of their output is anything other than plain vanilla atrocious)

On any album's page (for example: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=19920), scroll down to the bottom.  If you are logged into the system, there will be a big blank white space for the writing of your review.  I suggest you write your review in a word processor document so you can save it, and then copy and paste into the blank space (some have lost lengthy reviews due to a technical issue).

Once you're satisfied with your review (and it is 200+ words), you can choose a star rating.  Read and accept the terms at the bottom, and submit your review!

And it will be on the front page.  Smile

elder08:
Any given album page. Find the artist, click into the album you want to review, at the bottom of the page there will either be a ready window for writing or a message telling you to log in to be able to review.

One word of advice though: Write the review in notepad or similar, and copy/paste into the review block on the progarchives page when finished. This website has the odd hiccup now and then - and loosing a review due to that is a frustrating experience ;-)

Sounds like an excellent place to start. Thumbs Up

I'm surprised that you mention it since I've actually had the entirely opposite experience concerning this site's reliability. I've managed to click on a link while writing my latest review and was surprised that the text was still intact after clicking back.

Windhawk is right though.

Please copy your review to or from a notepad before you submit the review. PA have it's hiccups. Loosing a carefully worded review is no fun.

When it comes to reviews, we all have our own styles. Write what your heart tells you and ignore whatever anybody else write. You are always right, remember.

I'm sure that you guys are completely right and that I've been testing fate ever since my first review. Still I wonder if this issue has more to do with the web-browser that is used. I personally only use Firefox (and Safari on my iPhone).

Heh - I'm always on by Firefox, so it's not a browser issue. That is, apart from when I'm doing SC tasks, then I prefer the stability of Google Chrome.
