Oh, fine. I'll try to find more info on Larsen Rupin, too, but his official website has...well, nothing, and I haven't found anything else yet either. There seems to be a sort of stock bio he's put out for other websites (last.fm, etc), they're all exactly the same. Edit: I've found more, but it's in French.

I listened too, it was pretty good. Just out of curiousity, did you find that by going through and clicking every link in the Tzadik catalogue? ;-) |
No, it was cleared in the ZART charts, someone had to write a bio for them

Has anyone else heard the recording I talked about last night? It even has Mycale on it, I have never listened to an a capella type band before but they are good.

Hahaha, holy sh*t, Easy Money just said this about Andrew WK

Um ... this guy isn't very good and kudos to him for having the chutzpah to declare himself a solo act based on his meager skills and musical knowledge. It really sounds like he is drunk. Something happens to people's timing when they have been drinking. I love to drink, but I will rarely if ever get drunk and get on stage, you owe that to your audience. |
District 9 wasn't a bad movie, but the action sequences were waaay too long. I wanted more of the movie to be eviction notices and less of it to be Iron Man's Implausible Mech Assault. It's at least a 3/5, although I might have given it a 4/5 right after I saw it.

District 9 was one of the very few movies where I actually left the theatre before it was over.

I noticed the absence of a fellow cat. Ugh, my English has been horrid lately.

Hey Matt, seems like you're the only heavy Shredder left without a Collab status. At this rate, the only question left is: what team would you like to take part in? |
Hey, what about me! But I think I upset people too much to be a collab. :P

That would explain why I never liked This Heat.
And yeah, I'm hoping that in a few pages of Andrew WK Harry and MO will admit they were just trolling.

It didn't deserve the screenplay win, though.
District 9 should've won, but that's just the fanboy in me. |
District 9 was merely good. As Rob said, the plot was just silly.

So after hearing those samples, I think that band is awesome.
