Matt, you'd probably enjoy Pitom
Les mains, les pieds balancés
Sur tant de mers, tant de planchers,
Un marin mort,
Il dormira

The first thing I saw on their Myspace was "Experimental/Jazz/Grunge". That is more than enough to interest me. I'll listen right after this last song.

On the second song now, I like what I hear, they have an interesting blend of music.

I used the wrong form of "right". Angry Where is the facepalm smiley when you need it?

Looks like Animal Collective existed in the late 70s, but they were called This Heat.

So after hearing those samples, I think that band is awesome.

Hey, what about me! But I think I upset people too much to be a collab. :P

That would explain why I never liked This Heat.

And yeah, I'm hoping that in a few pages of Andrew WK Harry and MO will admit they were just trolling.

I take it back, Monique(or however the f**k she spells it.) deserved that win.
It didn't deserve the screenplay win, though.
District 9 should've won, but that's just the fanboy in me.
District 9 was merely good. As Rob said, the plot was just silly.

I've been away from the Shred for so long...

So I just found out that Daniel Spahni (the drummer/mastermind of Larsen Rupin) also played in Ensemble Raye...talk about connections.

District 9 was one of the very few movies where I actually left the theatre before it was over.

I blame my absence on a mixture of spring break and video games. Embarrassed

Video games are bad for you, they keep you from shredding. I don't have any games I'd like to replay, so I need a new one. I'm sure I would enjoy Dragon Age, so I will try to get a hold of it asap.

Hahaha, holy sh*t, Easy Money just said this about Andrew WK

Something happens to people's timing when they have been drinking. I love to drink, but I will rarely if ever get drunk and get on stage, you owe that to your audience.

District 9 wasn't a bad movie, but the action sequences were waaay too long. I wanted more of the movie to be eviction notices and less of it to be Iron Man's Implausible Mech Assault. It's at least a 3/5, although I might have given it a 4/5 right after I saw it.

I listened too, it was pretty good. Just out of curiousity, did you find that by going through and clicking every link in the Tzadik catalogue? ;-)
