Topic: Steve Hillage's ''For To Next'' album. Posted: March 08 2010 at 12:19 |
Okay, so it has come to my attention that this page:
Is a little messy, to my eyes.
For To Next is only listed in the form of the compilation disc featuring it and it's successor, ''And Not Or''. Problem is, that compilation is listed as a studio album, yet the individual release of ''And Not Or'' is listen right after it.
Wouldn't it make more sense to drop the compilation disc of the two albums into to ''Compilations'' section, then add the individual release of ''For To Next'' into it's correct location, before ''And Not Or''?
it would be a lot less confusing. Otherwise the individual ''And Not Or'' counts as a double entry, doesn't it?

Releases information
LP: UK Virgin V2244 / CD: Virgin CDV 2244 (1990) /LP : Virgin OVED 8 (1982) |
However, how can compilation has this release date, when one of albums on this compilation is released in 1983 ?

^ It's clearly been mislabeled. I believe the two LPs were first packaged together in 1990, but that's not for certain. I'll do some more research to try and find out for sure.
Thanks.

. . . okay, it seems that some editions of ''For To Next'' was indeed packaged with ''And Not Or'', while others were not. Apparently, ''And Not Or'' is actually an EP!
So anyway, I'm gonna try to straighten out the dates a bit, if I can, and move ''And Not Or'' to the EP section.
lol, don't you just love it when an artist releases more than one version of their own material and somebody adds it to the discog here?

Okay, everything should be re-positioned and accurate, now.

I have the Virgin LP, and the cover does say 1983.
