Sounds like a fairly interesting band according to Wiki. And probably one I would enjoy.

Probably. There are some good samples here on PA.

I will have to give those sample a listen tonight then. But for now, I'll enjoy Abbey Road.

I have heard pretty much the entire album, just not in it's entirety. I like what I've heard.

Now I have to listen to a progressive electronic album.

What album is it?

Check the "Watcha listenin' to" thread. Smile

I did. And commented on it.

That's not progressive electronic.

I think my musical tastes went really far out in left field, but have crawled back enough into accessible territory that I can appreciate post-Revolver Beatles material now. God knows if I'll ever like anything earlier than that though.

That's not progressive electronic.

It's not. But I still stick by the statement I made in that thread.

Eh, I just trialed the whole chain of responses linked to Rob's choice, it wasn't directed at you.

I'm a difficult person who will route for Eno's ambient rather than accepting there's greatness in his early art rock, but, overall, that one is his best offering from that section, yes.

Dead

I was going to add, I really don't understand why it's the highest rated.
Univers Zéro and Hérésie are FAR better, they're five stars albums.
Uzed is three star, to me.

I don't mean to say that an album is progressive electronic (I know it really isn't for the most part), but that is the category Eno is in, and I've got a review in the works.

Actually, the album's in the top 20 prog electronic albums, and Rico, you gave it a four!

First one has nothing to do with what I've said, given that our great raters that put it there don't like Eno's real prog electronic albums in the first place.

Second one links this time to what I've said just moments ago

In fact, yes, I prefer this album next to ambiently butchering Bach on half of Discreet Music.

I understand you.

I simply don't think it's a very good album.  Smile

It's snowing again outside.

It's March.

Heck, I might pick up some Kayo Dot and call it a masterpiece.
