I've looked everywhere! It makes me so mad, because I love that bowtie. But don't worry there's still hope. I may have left it at my parents because I sometimes visit them. They claim it isn't there, but I don't believe them. Please help me find it. Let me know if you can think of any places I haven't looked.

this is quite troubling.. both that it's lost and that you wear bowties

hmm let me see, perhaps you should ask yourself if you were a bowtie where would you be; have you checked the freezer?  If that fails check the back of your closet.  If it turns up at your parents don't be mad at them, they clearly were trying to wean you off this fashion choice

Have you looked down tha back of the sofa? Even if you don't find your bow tie, you're bound to find something that you've lost - and possibly enough loose change to buy a new one.

Some good suggestions (along which some rather unnecessary digs at my fashion sense Tongue) but don't worry the crisis has been averted. I found it crammed into the bottom of my messenger bag. Somehow I missed it when I looked before. Thank you all for your support. I can hardly wait to wear tonight at my moustache club meeting.
