Topic: When Prog meet Rock Posted: March 14 2004 at 06:30 |
Some people have mentionned Thin Lizzy here.
BUT
What is the famous "prog drummer" who played percussions with them ????

Go back in the bush dude
I'm sure he'd LOVE to, Tauhd! To quote a great Gabriel lyric: "Out of woman comes the man, spends the rest of his life getting back when he can."
Don't do it, Dude! I can't stomach the thought of a "born-again" Dude on the Forums!

Unfortunately I mean "australian bush" (with crocodile Dundee)
Anyway I love the song "Blood of Eden", particularly with Paula Cole in Secret World Live

Uh, I HATE to be a fusspot, Tauhd, but a jig is a lively dance done to traditional Celtic-type music (jigs and reels), but a gig is a musical job, as in "We've just been hired for our first gig!"
(Most people hate to be corrected, but you've written that before, and I thought that I'd help you -- hey, I used to teach English as a Second Language to two French guys!)
I'm really glad to have a (wise & witty) female perspective on the Forums.
Re your Hammill lyrics post, I say that sort of thing to my beloved wife all the time!

Sorry Wizard
I'm beginning to be "Cross-eyed not Marie but Tauhd"
So as you are the winner, Wizard, you win a free-pass for all the jigs of Phil Collins
|
That's ok, and I'm hoping that free pass comes with a time machine back to the early 70s.
And DUDE, the Avatar is altered, so as to avoid confusion.
