Enjoy, Luke!

Udi Koomran really shines on that album. Soundwise, it's unique!

I'm not even sure whether to class it as Chamber Prog or not... it has Chamber Prog elements but it's unique in its own way as well.

Plus one part of it is really quite dark.

Rico, maybe it's from the French?  Numero?

I heard something about a Present marathon..? Big smile

Funny thing is that I haven't listened to Present in a while..

I was thinking about it but I've got a busy evening and I have to find my CDs...  Also, I don't have Present - Live, I don't think.  That's the only one I've not got though.

And the new album is eargasmic, even though they cover Jack the Ripper.

Still haven't heard it.. Cry

Do you have the CD/DVD?

It's pretty much the only studio Present I can stand.

The live albums are surprisingly good, though.

What's wrong with their other albums?Confused

They're the most boring kind of Zeuhl/RIO/chamber-rock I've heard so hard.

Present are dreadfully repetetive to many. I love their sound though, even Certitudes which is their most 'normal' album.

Ah, that's cool then.  I was hoping that was the case.  I didn't want to think Daniel Denis had run out of ideas and just re-recorded his old tunes. LOL

I've had C.O.D. Performance on CD for ages and still haven't heard it.  Not many people mention that one... last time I looked it didn't even have a review.

How does it compare?

Haven't heard it myself, other than a sample on their homepage. All I know about it is that it's Trigaux and his son, Reginald on guitars, vocal and percussion only. The sample was very interesting though, so I think the album has something to offer.

Yes he was, but he left after Certitudes in 1998, with Kerman filling his shoes. Kerman had already toured a bit with them earlier as well.

Either Luke is enjoying Ahvak far too much or he's been taken off to an asylum.

[Rating22818113] The production irks me...
The music is a little too light as well.
