Avatar is ok, even great for the parts it worked so hard to be that way. Not the story and the acting, though, completely Cameronianly predictable.

I haven't seen it, not sure if I should.

Entirely your decision.

I decided not to. I don't want to sit through a boring movie for eye candy.

Cool. (it's not boring)

First two hours are good. Last hour is utter sh*te.

Aw, culture-learning, mysticism-understanding and warrior-bildung.

Rob's and J-Man's table is over there.

I'm quite satisfied with the album, and I was even more satisfied with Hinterland.

I should now counterstrike and question what's Subsignal doing so up. Tongue Nothing interesting going on there.

One thing that made me worry was that Cameron turned into a manga writer, not killing almost anyone major (and positive) for like 3 quarters of the film. But he starting blowing to bits soon afterwards.

At least it lays off the 16th notes on a organ for more than 5 seconds. Wink

Eh, as soon as the generic Braveheart fight-back started, it became quite tedious quite quickly and for quite a long time. A bit more menace early on would have helped, I think.

This might have a chance in my top 10. It's really good so far.

My friend was more impressed than me, but that was to be expected. He said "well, this truly isn't only about fighting between civilizations. There were plenty of other things in it. Like sex." Exclamation

I'm not trying anything unchecked from '09 anymore. Was tempted by Natural Snow Building and Tangent.

I have a hard time actually loving music from the past few years. I've heard at least 75 albums from the past two years, and love tons of songs, but not much makes me feel as much as some luminous albums I've heard in my life, even from this decade.

Strange internet connections at this late hour.  How are PA's pages loading with ease, while Google takes forever or results in error?!

I need to start listening to The Decemberists and Devin Townshend.  Everyone here raves about them, and I haven't listened to one song by each.  Should I be ashamed of myself?

The best way to introduce someone to The Decemberists is quite obvious, The Mariner's Revenge Song, his voice is a little off sounding in this recording for some reason, but there are about 100 home made videos on youtube that use the album version.

Riverside are fairly badass actually. Is ADHD or SLS better?

Btw, P-U-L-S-E is terrible imo.
