Civilization II is perhaps the most addictive game ever, at least for one day once in a while. I spent pretty much all day building my English empire. Perhaps tomorrow I'll start another one...

...if I'm not too focused on worrying about the absolute crap weather and my girlfriend, brother and his wife making their way up here in the blizzard for about 350 kilometres. Now my bro is a good driver, but not everyone out there is...

Of course, I didn't mean there can't be great stuff coming out, I just think Masada String Trio's (II), Uri Caine's (VI, though with some good pieces) and most surprisingly Cracow Klezmer's (V) albums aren't exactly impressive.

I've seen all my grades except the one for my jazz class, which I'm assuming will be an A, but I want proof.  Ah well, I'll just have to be patient and check later on tonight.

I hate checking for grades, it is worse than sitting the exam. Then, when you get a good grade, it makes you feel like shouting yourself nice beer and a new CD.
