As for me, I will be listening to Les Morts Vont Vite. Evil Smile

An amazing album. Big smile

I think I prefer it over UZ and Present albums too.

I've tried playing it over the stereo, but the craziest thing happened, it seems that other people find it unappealing.

Play it on headphones then.  It's worth it.

I would love to sit in front of the stereo with the volume up as high as I can stand it. I think it would sound great. But "That's just noise"

Just one song.  Anyways, my hatred for Noise is so strong it made it sound like a masterpiece.

What is it you heard that makes you hate noise so much?

"Metal Machine Music" and Merzbow.  I guess you can say that hours of recorded feedback just isn't my cup of tea.

For the record, I liked each of the 30 second samples for Metal Machine Music. I don't know if I could take an hour of it, but there you go. The other famous albums in that vein are Pat Metheny's Zero Tolerance for Silence and Sign of Four, which I may go for since they're quite cheap. I love the one star reviews for both on Amazon complaining that it's "noise".

Lately whenever I happen to hear Merzbow it isn't as annoying as it used to be.

Lurk this forum with me. I'm Coinage over there (I registered before I saw There Will Be Blood, maybe I should just start a new account), and while I think my tastes are very different from the people who go there, who seem to primarily be into esoteric forms of minimalism, it's really wonderful to only recognize one name from their entire Best Album of '09 thread.

I would make a new account but I'm afraid the forum is small enough that somebody will notice. Oh well, I'll just live with the stupid name.

I plan on asking for recommendations at some point, but if most of them think Imaoto is the best album of the year I don't think I'll ever be able to interject much of value into the conversation, even if they're talking about Albert Ayler.

That forum does make me miss having dark skinned forums. Much easier on the eyes. Albert Ayler sounds like a good idea right now.
