AC is not really considered electronic.

I wouldn't quite call it "electronic" as much as many other releases in the last decade.
And as much as I love it, just no to your second part.

Well MEH to you sir. MEH!

I wish people would unfriend me, it would save me the time of doing it.

Joel, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that our taste in music is different.

I think I can safely agree with that statement. At least Joel's getting into Magma though, that's a start. ![Wink Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif)

There is hope yet. Now if only we can get him to say Western Culture is the best album ever.
|
Not best album ever but best Henry Cow album. ![Big smile Big smile](smileys/smiley4.gif)

Not even that.
|
From the original studio albums, it is.

No.

This requires no explanation regarding music (explanations that are of an impenetrable fanboyism anyway ![Wink Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif) ). It was just the mix of superlatives and negatives. Worst was still "bad in extreme degrees", last time I checked.

It is excellent, Rico. A very enjoyable album.
But it's their weakest release. It's a 4.5/5 rather than 5/5.
I don't especially think War should be on the album firstly. It's more like a Slapp Happy track. I'd have personally preferred something like No More Songs or perhaps something more experimental, like With the Yellow Half-Moon and Blue Star or the Guider Tells... tracks. I'd have also personally loved a full-length Henry Cow version of Hodgkinson's Hold to the Zero Burn aka Erk Gah.

I understand what you meant, but In Praise Of Yearning is probably my no. 2 from them, but that's my opinion.

Not that it's bad. It's excellent. However, it's easily their weakest effort.

Mooncake's new EP is likely the best in the genre this year. Saxon Shore also have a fine new album.

Can't really frame it as music I've seen you be interested in, otherwise why not? Definitely good materials.
