Try jumping up and touching the very edge and fall back down, that is how I got passed it (although it was on accident). Actually, VdGG is one band that I would say is really Eclectic.

Erm... I just hit spikes whatever I do. LOL  Double Jumping doesn't seem to work for me too well.

If you find a way through that first screen with the moving spike walls that would be cool, but when I tried that I get stuck half way down.
