I think a lot of people turn their backs on that band thinking that they're just pop... or just "Roxanne" - but they're actually really amazing and have a surprising amount of quirky and instrumental tracks.

Yes.  They are all excellent musicians that have also released some great solo material post-Police.

I like it too. I also have been liking House and Monk this season, although I am never up to date since I can only watch on Hulu.
