Bashing in certain parts of the UK means to er.....pleasure....um.....yourself.

Seen in that light, the poll takes on an entirely different meaning

i like bashing people by saying something that they
would totally agree with to their face, but only if they
really know that i don't mean it. a lot of the time
people will think about the way they act if they hear
their words from someone elses mouth.

As long as you don't say "piece" we'll be okay.

Bishop bashing?  I thought it was "Bopping the Bishop," I guess you would know better.

It's amazing that you can actually see the computer screen. I would expect that you would be near blind.

Answer this... is your country, governement, customs, religions, individuals unassailable, without fault or crime or misery? Probably not. Glass houses and stones don't mix well.

You decide.

The vase is a possibility. The prog collection? I'd rather be ravished by a pack of blood thirsty rapid attack badgers and staked naked in the outback with only a pygmy pony for protection from the sun.s scorching rays.

So to Maani... I know I pick on you for being anal sometimes... and for writing the gosh darn longest chastises in the world....  but I truly do appreciate you!!!

Hey, I'm sincerely sorry about feeding them. This is the first, and really, only forum I go to. I don't have my chops up on forum animals and their requirements.

Consider me duly chastised and regretful.

I'm sorry, but the only way I can fully accept your apology is if you send your entire prog collection - and that DSOTM vase to my P.O. Box...

Don't worry, you can find some tips to deal with those plagues called trolls:

Quote
What Can be Done about Trolls?
Top

When you suspect that somebody is a troll, you might try responding with a polite, mild message to see if it's just somebody in a bad mood. Internet users sometimes let their passions get away from them when seated safely behind their keyboard. If you ignore their bluster and respond in a pleasant manner, they usually calm down.

However, if the person persists in being beastly, and seems to enjoy being unpleasant, the only effective position is summed up as follows:

The only way to deal with trolls is to limit your reaction to reminding others not to respond to trolls.

When you try to reason with a troll, he wins. When you insult a troll, he wins. When you scream at a troll, he wins. The only thing that trolls can't handle is being ignored.

Hope it helps Danbo.

I am not sure if that is good D...

There is no recorded history on trolls behavior but history has proven humans have never been able to behave. It is our very nature to behave like barbarians. It is our true calling....so enbrace it

Actually, I think they just change their names and try to act a little more human.

That okay, too.

Hey, we don't get many trolls here.  Once they've been chastised by Maani... they run for cover...
