She claims it wasn't serious, but if she was crazy enough to shoot Andy Warhol, she was crazy enough to mean that.

Hmm, it's nice that we're privileged enough to have a good half hour chunk of Klaus Schulze to preview. I'm thinking it's time I finally get some of his albums. X and Timewind are the two I'm looking at to get started with.

lol Claiming the SCUM Manifesto wasn't serious sounds a lot like Jack Torrance in The Shining.

X might possibly be the greatest electronic(a) album of all time. It depends, but it's always in my top 5. Get X, then Mirage, then perhaps Timewind. Kontinuum in an excellent recent work of his.

I was considering Mirage as well, I'm between it and Timewind now as my second. I know I'm going to order 2, but which the second one will be is still undecided.

I prefer Timewind, but both are good.

They're two different albums. "Velvet Voyage" is kind of like an epic space journey to me, from astral vista to astral vista. It a very evocative and constantly changing piece, less trancey than the songs on Timewind, which is heavily sequencer-driven. Of course, both are excellent. I wonder if we still have the streaming mp3 of "Velvet Voyage"...

Ah the fun of waking up to the slow realization that you've just poked your foot at something wet, turn the light on and see a huge dog vomit at the foot of the bed. Three a.m. Then spend 40 minutes cleaning it up and changing the sheets and just when you go back to bed she throws up again. Luckily to the floor this time. It takes an eternity to fall asleep again and then at eight she does it for the third time. What a night.

How are the extra tracks on the newest Timewind release? I read that the two long ones are basically alternate versions of the tracks on the original album.

We do, that's the 30 minute chunk of Klaus Schulze I was referencing earlier.

Sweet, the Davis box just arrived ![Hug Hug](smileys/smiley31.gif) But there's a problem I need to sort out with Amazon, I'm one of the many people who have received two second discs of Circle in the Round and no first disc at all.

Damn, that sucks!
I haven't really had any problems with ordering online before, but that sounds really sucky.
Can I ask a quick question?
Do you have the Jonsi and Alex album called Riceboy Sleeps? A guy at my favourite CD store said they have some copies for half price, but I'm not too sure about buying it.
