I'm psyched for more Comus. Hopefully they will tone down the whole rape-in-the-forest thing though.

I did that yesterday, I still have parts of it stuck in my head, like

You dangling swinging
Hanging, spinning, aftermath
Your soft white flesh turns past me slaked with blood...

and

Hymen hunter, hands of steel, crack you open and your red flesh peel
Pain procurer, eyes of fire pierce your womb and push still higher

Musically First Utterance is one of a kind though. I love all of the playing, the flute, the acoustic guitar, the violin, and the vocals. The vocals fit the lyrics perfectly. I have never heard anything like it anywhere else.

Comus is so amazing....and I even love the 2nd album which most people despise.
...that moment you realize you like "Mob Rules" better than "Heaven and Hell"

Exactly, that's what drew me to it...it's definitely an incredibly unique album.

^ Ah, Massive Attack. Heard that album once, good but I don't remember being particularly impressed by it.

I was pleasantly surprised the first time. This is my second listen and it's gotten a little bit better.

I'm seeing them live this wednesday, hopefully the new songs will work better live than on the album. It's the biggest disappointment this year.

There seems to be a fairly large amount of people, at least in this thread, that listen to electronic.

MGMT's Oracular Spectacular is actually pretty good. I wasn't expecting that.
