Congratulations yet again Clap

The first four tracks of Watershed are absolutely top notch, all of them I'd like to make fit into my top 10 Opeth songs list, but after that it's a bit weaker but still good. Strong four stars, might actually be my favourite Opeth album after the big three of Blackwater, Reveries and Still Life.

Thanks

I think I'll probably get it - Still Life is my favourite Opeth album to date, so if it ranks up with that it must be pretty good.

Thanks Pekka!

The Lotus Eater from the album is streaming in PA, have you listened to that? Smile Very often at work I get this uncontollable urge to listen to Watershed, don't know what that's about. It has perhaps their most beautiful moments ever (mostly Coil) and their most brutal (some stuff on A Heir Apparent, perhaps my favourite song of the album).

I didn't know there was a streaming track...
This is great! I've just ordered it

Thumbs Up

We're in an Opeth mood here as well, I wanted to listen to Watershed and my girlfriend wanted Ghost Reveries, we reached a good compromise in Blackwater Park Heart

Your girlfriend likes Opeth? Lucky

I'm listening to Blackwater Park right now... Dirge For November is my favourite Opeth track, right behind A Fair Judgement.

Oh yes, well she likes pretty much everything I like, except Kraftwerk, she hates them LOL We've seen Opeth five times together and even got their autographs in my Blackwater booklet and her Reveries booklet Smile

I think Dirge has always been my least favourite track of Blackwater, but it's a five star album so it can't be less than good.

I have ton of programming homework to get through, as well as a lot of math assignments. I think I'll just do a few problems out of each section, I am pretty sure my instructor doesn't mind, because I don't. Tongue

Sounds like a good strategy then. Tongue

I'm almost done with my Finite Math, then Accounting homework and to start on my Accounting project. I also have a Psych test Tuesday but there's no way I'll get to that today.

ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Led Bib's album is crawling up into my top 5 with every listen. Its prog side is the tonic Birds & Buildings we didn't get this year.

It could be better than Magma, not decided yet. It could be better than anything, I still can't say which is AOTY.

ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff that is all

No, I got that error too, Matt. Maybe M@X is working on the site or something. I don't know.

I still need to hear Lead Bib.

I just noticed, I don't have The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway in my collection!  Should I get it for Christmas?

DUH Tongue

Yeah, it is really good. When I first got into Genesis I got the 1970-1975 box set, all of the Gabriel era, which was awesome.

One of my musical experiences is with The Lamb, there was a power outage, and I had a pounding migraine. I couldn't sleep, so I was sitting on the kitchen floor with a lamp listening to it. I am pretty sure the oxycodone I took for my migraine helped, but it was the first time I "got" the album.
