It's a program you use to get on the internet, such as Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera. How's the weather in the Canadian 16th century? Any indians attacks today?

I have some qualms about saying you use it "to get on the internet." It allows you to view websites.

^ jet it is ... sorry about that. A simple spelling mistake, but it's interesting how it would even make sense with "yet". How about "A person from the mid 16th century, yet piloting airplanes ..."

At least this answers one question - what Ian saw during the filming of his avatar video:
This is the cockpit of a cool plane that I flew back in the mid 16th century with the Svenska Flygvapnet called the The Grippen ( Enlish name Griffon ). Our enemies did not know how advanced our military was at the time and always wondered what hit them. What you see here is an updated 21st century version of the front office of this revolutionary mid 16th century lightweight fighter. The most noticeable upgrade is a direct link to the world's foremost internet source for progressive music, progarchives.com on the multi-dimensional flight data display screen on the right hand side which is normally used for advanced navigation. It normally features a moving map display as well as a multi-sensor display which is sourced by the fighter's powerful multi-mode pulse doppler radar. IThe COMPUTER fed colour can also be displayed on the wide angle head up display ( HUD ) located at the top of the dash in the center of the cockpit image. This is so the pilot can check his PM's or participate in the PA forums while intercepting Migs. He can even write record reviews after the prosecution of the enemy a/c is complete. There is no other combat aircraft in the western inventory that is so equipped. Although a deal with Thailand has just fallen through in addition to Sweden, The Czech Republic, South Africa, and Hungary have selected this highly manoeverable and adaptable multi-role aircraft with built in growth potential as their frontline combat aircraft. It is built with carbon fibre composites which reduce it's infra-red and radar signatures which give it a stealthy aspect in hostile environments including a terrain following capability at low altitude especially useful when overflying residential areas at 10 feet off the deck as demonstrated above.
The addition of the progarchives.com option make it one of the most advanced combat aircraft today.
( actually it looks like the cockpit of the Eurofighter Typhoon )

^ it's an F-18 ... I'm a bit cross with myself for not putting an image on the HUD - a Smith's HUD was one of the first things I ever learned to program back in 19-Oh-blimey (single bit processor with 1K byte of magnetic-core memory)

Eurofighter has an all glass multi-functional display. Just checked it out. I'd be lost. CF-101B and F-111C instrumentations were primitive compared to this. No need for TOG ( the other guy ) operating the radar ,weapons and " browser ". This Hornet cockpit is certainly from a first generation F/A-18A.
