best car stereo for progressive rock

   hi there folks
greetings from Mexico
this is my very first post in here, so i hope you can help me out on this one:
im about to buy a car stereo , but it seems thay are all made for modern music, too much bass, noise and alll, i want a more pure sound, with more fidelity and clearness on sounds for this type of music..
 i heard Pioneer, i dont know, i dont want to much volume, just wanna listen to all the details in the music.
which one would you recomend me??
