Maybe I'm missing something all this time, but it has been quite big problem for me. Only way to do something close to it for me is to go to "PA TOP PROG ALBUMS / 2009: Top Albums / Top DVD/Videos" and then edit the search criteria from there... But, you'd agree it's very unnatural, and what's more important, incomplete, because, for example, this search won't show the bands with no rated albums etc.

So, the question / suggestion: is there any way to do the band search by country normally? If there isn't , I think it should definitely be added, because without it this whole process is very problematic.

Does this help in any way you want ?

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

I know RiverTree, there was a discussion, or more like discussions about this, as it hits minds of people over and over again. They seems to want it and, after all, even I would be glad for such feature :-)

More than adding regional/cultural subgenres, the homepage definitely would benefit from linking a list like this.

I'm not the one opposing this idea, even I consider Prog genres on main page as quite useful feature.

Although I would like to see it in form of this list on the upper right side of main page, where is "site / forum / web" function. Having genres in this would reduce this upper strip a lot and can make a place for country list - of course, again in form of this rolling feature.
