Well, you know, Savatage have some sick progressive metal albums, starting with Streets, though my favorites are Wake of Magellan and Dead Winter Dead (in this order). A good suggestion, if I may, is to use classic prog metal albums, like Fates Warning's Parallels and Aweken the Guardian (though the last one isn't progressive), Crimson Glory's Transcendence and Psychotic Waltz first 2 albums. There is also Cynic's and Death's awesome covers, and a lot more.

Really looking forward to seeing this one Abel - I love your working list of artists and particularly the lack of Hairbands
An hey - try & squeeze in a bit of Uriah Heep, there's a pretty vocal minority here on PA that would appreciate it

It's not that I can't find worth in anything, it's just that I can't find worth in enough.

Hmm, I think this is your best collage yet! Though quite honestly it has too much color in it...
Though seriously, I like your list, even though I disagree that some of them are metal, and I would hope that you would put more extreme metal in it. Though I can't really argue if you're going to put Venom in.
