What is Oceans of Night?
Oceans of Night is a heavy rock/metal band that synthesizes a diverse range of musical influences under the deceptively descriptive title of "ambient progressive rock". As the enigmatic and mysterious name suggests, Oceans of Night forge a powerful, modern and dynamic musical experience that demands your undivided attention. Consisting of musical mastermind Scott Mosher and vocal powerhouse Scott Oliva, Oceans of Night released their first CD, The Shadowheart Mirror, in June of 2009. Equal parts progressive metal and modern rock served with a distinct ambient flavor, The Shadowheart Mirror is a dark, haunting and cinematic musical statement that resonates with emotional impact. You can surf on over to the Oceans of Night web site here.Song samples, one sheet and a variety of other information is available at your leisure at the site as well. Drop on by, check out the song samples, order a few copies for yourself and your entire extended family. You won't regret it - and you'll feel much better about yourself for the rest of the year! Thanks in advance for your time, attendance and consideration. |

Nice website you'll have there. Could you direct me to a place where i can find some samples, like youtube or so? Would like to listen to your music considering the description you've provided.

Hey Soundmaster (of what sound are you master, btw?)
You can follow the link(s) in my sig file or mentioned on the banner, but if you want the easy way out (or in as the case may be!) merely surf on over to http://www.scottmosher.com and you'll see various gateways to the unknown and enter at your own risk! ;-) |

I'm on the Progressive Metal Team here and I am going to add Oceans of Night to our voting chart, because I think this project merits inclusion here in our archives.

Scott,I added Oceans of Night to our database
I usually write my own bios but you had a really good one on your site and I used that and did credit my bio source.I hope that's cool but if you want me to write one of my own just let me know.If you would like a song sample uploaded on to your band page(they are streams only),you can send me a sample via PM.
Good stuff man,I hope I hear more from this project of yours in the future! Edited by TheProgtologist - September 26 2009 at 18:53 |

Once again guys and girls, thanks. I have no problem with using existing self-composed (!!!) PR statements in the database. That almost legitimizes it! haha
I'm glad you folks are enjoying the new CD. The PR machine continues to grind it's wheels... slowly, surely and sufficiently tiresome! ;-) |
