You're in a great jazz fusion mood, huh?

Haven't heard the one from Ponty, how is it?

I didn't change the music after JLP and it just moved on to the next one in the alphabet LOL I'm not complaining!

As for the Ponty...it is very good, I just got it a few weeks ago and have given it a number of listeners... recorded in '82 or '83 but still has a classic 70's fusion feel to it. I would recommend the opening suite, great guitar and violin work throughout. It has excellent reviews on PA as well

^I've only heard Enigmatic Ocean, which is outstanding! Might check it someday, but the album I'm really keen on getting by Ponty is 'King Kong', have you heard that one?

I haven't. I only have Imaginary Voyage and Enigmatic Ocean on vinyl and this one on CD...sounds intriguing

To me the guitarist is an obvious fan of Hendrix, but doesn't over do it..  Really enjoyed the album, hope you did to.

I'm not quite sure yet, not that I have heard many from 2009 though, but the battle right now is between Hazards of Love and Still the Waters, and probably at the end of the year the later will win, unless that from The Tangent and Transatlantic manage to pull out something really exceptional for their standards.

Really?  I am flattered, although this album is far superior to mine.  Embarrassed

Yeah I'm confident that Hazards of Love is my album of the year thus far after some more listens/consideration.
