Where does everyone go for truly badass funny stuff on the internet? I personally gravitate toward the ond standbys Cracked.com (the source for list-based humor on tons of topics) and Somethingawful.com (collectors of the odd and downright stupid).

I love Cracked, I try to never miss an article. Hate by Numbers is one of my favorite video series.

I was thinking of starting a thread about web comics, but since this topic already exists, I'll just post them here.

My favorite web comics(no particular order):

1. XKCD - XKCD is described by the writer as "A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language."
2. Dinosaur Comics Dinosaur Comics is the same six panels over and over, but the dialog changes. It is a lot better than it sounds.
3. Garfield minus Garfield Garfield minus Garfield is described as "Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb."

I will second xkcd and Dinosaur Comics while adding Saturday Morning Breakfast Comics to and Perry Bible Fellowship (no longer updates) to the list of funny webcomics. While xkcd are either hit or miss with me (with the latter happening rather often nowadays), SMBC and PBF are good for a smile at least 90% of the time and an actual laugh around 10%. The main source of humor of Dinosaur Comics comes from the characters who I love.
There is hidden content for three of the comics I mentioned. xkcd has an alternate text that appears if you mouse-over the comic. SMBC has a red circle under the comic that will reveal an extra panel if you mouse over it. Dinosaur Comics has a mouse-over text, a joke in the subject line of an email if you hover your mouse over the "contact" link at the top, and if you check that day's comic in the archive.

Apart from webcomics I must support The Onion which (at least for July 20) has been sold to Yu Wan Mei, a Chinese Amalgamated Salvage Fisheries And Polymer Injection Corporation and as a result all the stories are Chinese propaganda my favorite being this.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.

I dig on all the comics previously mentioned, and would like to add Diesel Sweeties, Questionable Content, Sequential Art, Overcompensating, Alien Loves Predator, Girly, Something*Positive and Wondermark.  (Yeah, I know some of them have heavy dramatic content, but they're still great.)

I can honestly say that fat-pie has the most disturbing content I've seen anywhere, not that that's a bad thing.
