Holy crap! Spain were just about to the set the record for the longest series of consecutive wins if I'm not wrong. Were they eliminated or it hasn't come to that already?

Bout time the US side showed some sack against one of the big boys.  Beating up on Trinidad and Tobago, Canada and a plethora of Central American countries to get into the World Cup just ain't gonna feed the bulldog anymore.   Can't wait for the World Cup

Seriously though, that's cool. I don't really care.
And as soon as we lose, (or even if we go all the way and win it all) when the games end everyone will go back to saying f*ck soccer!!!

Seriously, anyone noticed how all of America was a fan of the Tour de France until Lance left. Seemed to lose interest after that.....
We just like beating other countries at stuff.

But congrats anyway to the US team!

still a half to go... but DAMN proud to say... .we came to play.

No one knew if Spain was a fluke.. and suspect everyone wouldn't have been surprised if Brazil smoked us.  Win or lose... damn proud of the team.  They showed up.. and are the ones playing the beautiful game.  Great goals... not junk at all.
