recently beat the first Silent Hill
got the Jacob's Ladder (ie bad) ending

I just needed to install the widescreen mod and play it in Tutu. The size of the UI is unbearable in 800x600, and getting rid of the clunky BG1 UI helps too.
And cheesing it and using the walkthrough so I know where all the stupidly hidden subquest content is. I'm not opening every damn door in Beregost to find the couple that have subquests behind them.
