I like both, it depends on what kind of mood that I am in. Both have their merits and weaknesses. I voted for the Floyd.

I second that, Floyd bores me to death and in part is because of their lack of good drumming (or shoul I say their lack of drumming ). Really I can take a nap while listening most of his songs, although I enjoy DSOTM to a certain extent and WYWH even a little more. Their vocals also sounds boring to me. So, as you may assume by now, Zep all the way, a band that I like since I was 9. (still is not among my very favourites)

Comparing a legendary Prog band to a legendary non Prog band on a Prog site is hardly a fair competition.
So I vote Zep (even though I 'em both)

Always found myself listening to Zeppelin more than Floyd. Like them both however

Floyd. No contest there, but recently I've started to warm up to Zep a bit, particularly through III. Some very fine songs on that album.

Not a great fan of Led Zeppelin, so Pink Floyd easily.

Floyd I guess, but it's pretty close. Not really bands that can be easily compared though.

This is progressive rock right? Led Zeppelin is great but not nearly as progressive as Floyd.

Floyd. By miles.
Led Zepp are a good band, but Floyd are amongst the best, albeit a bit erratic.

I like a lot of Zeppelin's stuff, but I love some of PF's stuff. Neither is one of my top bands by far, though.

Months ago... I prefered Zeppelin. Now, (in me, and on progarchives) I prefer Pink Floyd.

Me and my bro were just discussing the different aspects of both bands' music. Now, we know that they are 2 very different bands but in their time they were 2 of THE BIGGEST bands around. And to this day, they still are massive in a lot of respects. So we were curious to see what others thought. Thanks.
